'The Big Bang Theory' News, Spoilers: Showrunner Steve Molaro Teases Season 9 Premiere Events
Some secrets just can't stay hidden for too long and Leonard will have his exposed the hard way when the 9th season of CBS' hit sitcom series "The Big Bang Theory" kicks off this month.
Speaking right over for the Fall TV Spoilers 2015 edition of TVLine, executive producer Steve Molaro revealed that the season primer will indeed begin with a festive note as Leonard and Penny will now be tying the knot.
However, their honeymoon won't be as delightful as they expected when Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting's alter-ego learns that her newly-wed husband wasn't completely being honest about his North Sea affair.

As revealed by the showrunner, the girl that Leonard kissed "is closer to him than Penny was led to believe." The other woman in question is Mandy, played by "Mom" star Melissa Tang, whom fans will finally meet in one of the brand new episodes of Season 9.
But fans won't have to put so much worry about this big revelation which is speculated to derail the couple's plan of settling their lives once and for all.
"We're nine years in and we want to keep things moving forward, as well as exciting and scary and fun," Molaro told TVLine in an earlier interview. One person to make Penny understand the situation is none other than her dad, whose part will once again be played by Keith Carradine.
"And I think this a great way to do it. Penny has had commitment issues for years and years now, especially when it comes to Leonard and even she feels, 'How much longer are we going to go back and forth on this? Let's just jump in and hope for the best,'" he added.
Speaking more on relationship dramas, Molaro also hinted that Amy and Sheldon might be exploring the idea of "taking a step back" following the former's vanishing act in Season 8 while Howard and Bernadette's focus now falls on making his late mom's residence, which Howard inherited, into "their home and not his childhood home."
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 opens Monday, September 21, at 8/7c on CBS.
