'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Episode 12 Spoilers: Sheldon, Raj Find New Heavenly Body; Leonard, Penny Seek Therapy

After what appears to be a long holiday break, CBS' hit sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 is finally back with a fresh new episode that will find Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) setting their eyes towards the heavens in hopes of discovering something. Meanwhile, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) decide to seek therapy.

According to the preview shared over at the TBBT Wikia page for the episode called "The Sales Call Sublimation," the two nerds, Sheldon and Raj, will collaborate for some amazing astronomical discovery.

It is said that Sheldon will eventually spot a new asteroid which he and Raj will decide to put a name on.

The theoretical physicist will suggest that they name it with a combination of their surnames, making it "Kooper." Sheldon's family name is Cooper while Raj's is Koothrappali.

But complications soon start to enter the naming issue when Leonard suggests otherwise. According to the latter, it would be best to name the heavenly body after their respective girlfriends, Emily (Laura Spencer) and Amy (Mayim Bialik).

The result would be "Amy," where the Am comes from Amy's name and the "Y" from Emily. Obviously, Raj reacted differently saying the final outcome just reads Amy.

Despite the apparent disagreement, Sheldon informed his other half that he had named an asteroid after her. Having known the issue, Amy told Sheldon that they might be forced to name all their children after Raj for them to return the favor.

In another development, Leonard and Penny decide to see a therapist separately. The preview shared over at YouTube revealed Penny taking to a counselor about their marital woes and it seems like Sheldon could have a big part on it.

She told the therapist that they have been taking care of a "man child," which would be Sheldon. The doctor, in turn, informs Penny that Leonard has been talking about the person during their session.

"Oh, Leonard talked a lot about him. I wasn't sure if he was real," Dr. Gallo (played by guest star Jane Kaczmarek) said.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
