'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Episode 8 Spoilers: Sheldon Gets His Own Date
The previous episodes of CBS' hit sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9, show that while Leonard and Penny are enjoying their new lives as husband and wife, Sheldon and Amy are in the midst of a relationship breakdown. Despite Sheldon's apparent insensitivity to the issue, it was him who appears to have suffered from the breakup most. Meanwhile, Amy is on her way to further widen her horizons.
Fans may already have been acquainted with Amy's new love interest, Dave. All small hopes that Amy and Sheldon might reunite have been squashed with the newcomer's arrival. Will there be any hope left for Sheldon in the game of dating?
Apparently, the answers that viewers of the series have been waiting for have finally arrived.

As suggested in the synopsis shared by The Futon Critic for the episode titled "The Mystery Date Observation," it seems like the theoretical physicist will return into the dating pool. The summary, in fact, stated that he will do so with the help of his friends Wolowitz and Koothrappali. According to TFC, the trio will be posting an online advertisement to find Sheldon a new girlfriend.
The spoiler report from Cinema Blend further revealed that Sheldon will find his mystery girl in the person of Vanessa, played by "America's Next Top Model" former contestant Analeigh Tipton. If this casting information should be taken as basis for this speculation, then it is pretty much safe to assume that this new love interest will be way out of league for the Star Trek geek.
It has yet to be discovered if Tipton's character, Vanessa, will stick to the series or if it would just be a one-time affair.
Meanwhile, back to TFC's synopsis, it appears that the girls, Penny and Bernadette, will be finding out more about Amy's new date as they decide to spy on the new couple.
