'The Blacklist' Season 3 Episode 8 Preview: Liz Has the Chance to Clear Her Name

Former FBI Agent Liz Keen has spent much of the current season running from those who are after her – the FBI and the Cabal. Fans of the TV series "The Blacklist" will be happy to know that in the series' fall final episode this coming Thursday, Liz may be closer to regaining her freedom, according to a report in CarterMatt. The report also says that since this is the last episode before the show takes a winter break, it is likely that a lot will be revealed in the coming episode, most especially with regards to Liz's fugitive situation.

The official synopsis of the episode titled "Kings of the Highway" reads: "Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone) will be unexpectedly separated from each other when Red falls into a dangerous situation. Samar (Mozhan Marno) is going to make a risky decision to help Liz while Tom (Ryan Eggold) and Cooper (Harry Lennix) continue on their expedition to exonerate Liz."

In the episode trailer that was recently released, it shows Samar and Ressler having an argument about Liz, with Ressler accusing Samar of protecting Liz and Red, to which Samar responds by saying that if Liz is brought in, she will die.

Red, on the other hand, is seen in the trailer in several scenes – the first being with Liz and telling her that "We are very close. This will all be over soon." However, as the synopsis suggests, the two will find themselves separated as Red gets into a spot of trouble from his actions in the previous episode. He is shown in the trailer talking on a payphone, muttering "Lizzie, where are you? They are coming."

If one scene in the trailer is any indication, Liz may find herself trying to outrun those who are after her in some forested area. Naturally, the trailer just showed glimpses of Ressler chasing after Liz, but it is not clear whether he really will take her in, after Samar's revelation.

"Kings of the Highway" airs on November 19. "The Blacklist" will return on January 7, 2016.
