'The Blacklist' Season 3 Spoilers, Plot News: Ressler Hot On The Trail For Liz
The intense, heart-stopping premiere for the third season of NBC's hit crime drama series "The Blacklist" revealed how desperate Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone) are to get off the FBI's radar.
They had a perfect plan back then. All they had to do was stay hidden and emerge only when the dust is cleared. Unfortunately, their cover was blown. Betrayed by their ally's sister when they were about to leave, Red escaped while Liz got trapped inside the city.
The agency which Liz formerly worked for was close to getting their hands on the ex-operative but thankfully, she was able to seek asylum at the Russian embassy, telling them she's a spy for the country.

The plot is just about to get even more thrilling and suspenseful as the show moves forward this week with an episode that will see Red enlisting the help of a certain lawyer named Marvin Gerard, of which the episode was titled after.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) is still searching for Liz after her escape. Left with no one else to trust, Red calls on the help of the aforementioned lawyer to get them out of the current sticky hostage situation. Meanwhile, the FBI wants to get rid of Cooper (Harry Lennix) from the task force.
The recently released promo video for Episode 2 reveals that Liz is about to get into a deeper mess when she is ordered to be sent to Moscow, Russia. But Ressler will make sure that the wanted person won't be getting away.
Meanwhile, Liz is seen getting into a car accident as she heads for the airport. Ressler, who is following her tracks, opens an empty vehicle. Red, on the other hand, will also make sure that Liz can't get on the plane as he suspects that something awful will happen to her once the aircraft gets airborne.
