'The Bold and the Beautiful' Cast News, Spoilers for the Week: Kim Matula Quits, 'General Hospital' Star to Fill In?

Recent cast rumors about CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" indicated that the soap may be tapping "General Hospital" actress Kelly Thiebaud to fill in the void of a cast member reported to be quitting the show.

B&B talks pointed out Kim Matula will be leaving the soap family and her character Hope Logan will also be given an exit. CDL cited sources telling them that Thiebaud is set to "fill the void" left by Matula's character.

"Considering the fact that half of Bold and the beautiful literally revolves around Hope's love life, the soap really has no choice but to bring in a new cast member," they stated.

But is there any truth in it?

"Several sites on the internet are reporting that Bold and the Beautiful has tapped Kelly Thiebaud for the part. You have to admit it is a huge coincidence that within one week news hit the internet that Kelly Thiebaud was leaving General Hospital, Jacqueline Macinnes Wood was not returning to play Steffy and B&B was recasting, and Kim Matula was quitting," CDL revealed.

As for B&B Weekly spoilers, here are some highlights. First for Monday, Nov. 24, Caroline will be taken off guard as Rick asks her a favor. Katie, meanwhile, will learn about the fight that ensued between Bill and Ridge.

On Tuesday, Nov. 25, Rick is still adamant with his plans on remaining as CEO of Forrester Creations. And on Wednesday, there will be a huge gathering at the Forrester mansion as the Logans and Spencer family members join in the Forrester for a Thanksgiving celebration.

On Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, "B&B" is pre-empted for CBS' NCAA football coverage.
