The Bridge Season 3 Release Date? Renewed or Canceled?

With the season 2 finale of "The Bridge" airing in a few hours, fans are wondering whether the show will be renewed for a third season, as the crime drama from FX has proven to be a breath of fresh air amidst all the other crime shows airing today.

The season premiere, "Yankee," garnered 1.50 million viewers for FX. Ratings dropped a bit towards the middle of the season, but went up again to a solid 1.03 million by last week's episode, "Quetzalcoatl." The show has also gotten a lot of positive critical response, with The Hollywood Reporter's Tim Goodman calling it, "mandatory viewing for drama lovers."

"It will be interesting to see where the writers take it and whether they have the big-league ability to make the evident potential materialize," wrote Goodman. "One thing they've hopefully learned is that sometimes holding back information isn't mysterious, it's just confusing."
