'The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist' Premiere Date, Plot Spoilers: October 23, 2015 Sees The Warrens Heading to England

"The Conjuring 2" is an upcoming supernatural horror film which is a direct sequel to the first film "The Conjuring" released in 2013. The sequel was first reported to be in development in June of 2013 and is scheduled for an Oct. 23, 2015 premiere date. Both Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will be reprising their roles as Lorraine Warren and Ed Warren respectively in the sequel.

While iMDb lists the film's plot as undisclosed, details of the story have already been circulating as early as last year. Current and holding rumors is that the sequel will be sending Warrens to England. A subtitle for the sequel is also said to be "The Enfield Poltergeist."

The subtitle is a reference to the 1977 case of a single mother in suburban London whose children were reportedly haunted. Seeing as how Warren is being sent to London, the plot could revolve around this case.

The plot we could be seeing is a case that occurred in the aforementioned date of 1977 and revolves around two sisters in Enfield, England. The sisters were allegedly possessed and Warren had said she personally saw one of the sisters levitate and the other dematerialize in front of her - only to be found 20 minutes later stuffed in an oversized fuse box.

Warren had also said during that time that the demon spoke directly to her husband on many occassions and the case was one of the most terrifying experiences of her career.

The Poltergeist case could offer a fresh new story for the "Conjuring" franchise, instead of simply focusing on the Amityville Horror incident.
