The devotion to both God and America is symbolized in a new image one group believes – the Cross Spangled Banner. Hoping to reawaken the virtue they claim America has forgotten, a few individuals from Milwaukee created a new flag replacing the 50 stars with crosses, the “universal symbol of God’s virtue.”
