"The Dark Knight Rises" could be available on Blu-ray and DVD as early as Nov. 30.

This information leaked from Amazon Germany, who normally is one of the first retailers to post up release dates for upcoming products. The site has already posted up Friday, Nov. 30 2012 as the day both the Blu-ray and DVD version of "The Dark Knight Rises" will arrive in stores.

Nov. 30 is not generally used as a holding date for Amazon either. The site uses Nov. 28 more frequently for that reason.

The listing could be a mistake since Friday is an uncommon day for Blu-ray and DVD releases. But Warner Bros., the studio responsible for "The Dark Knight Rises" has made exceptions such as this one in the past for big releases.

Customers should not build up their hopes for this date and instead should await a formal announcement that will be made by Warner Bros. in the near future.

In the meantime, "The Dark Knight Rises" is still in theaters raking in cash and maintaining is prominence as the summer's number one blockbuster.

The film has received an overwhelming amount of positive reviews and has grossed $941 million worldwide. It currently holds the title as the 17th highest grossing film of all time and the second highest grossing film of 2012 behind "The Avengers" and it still has more time in theaters to catch up.

"The Dark Knight Rises" is the last film in the Batman reboot series directed by Christopher Nolan. The other two films in the series are 2005's "Batman Begins" and 2008's "The Dark Knight" starring the late Heath Ledger.

Nolan has confirmed that this will be his last Batman film and that the studio will mostly likely reboot the series after this movie.
