'The Elder Scrolls Online' 'Morrowind' Expansion News: Details Of New Areas To Be Introduced

'Morrowind' expansion expected to be released for 'The Elder Scrolls Online' on June 6

"The Elder Scrolls Online" players will soon be able to travel to new locations inside the game thanks to the upcoming addition of the "Morrowind" expansion, and it looks like these will give players different views and experiences.

One of the main locations that players will see more of inside "Morrowind" is Vvardenfell.

This enormous island is one that long-time fans of the series are likely already very familiar with, but for those who may not have seen it previously, developers have shared more details in a recent post on the game's official website.

First off, players can count on seeing the iconic Red Mountain once again in the updated version of Vvardenfell. The Red Mountain appears as powerful as ever, and just like before, it can still significantly impact its surroundings.

Still, even though the Red Mountain looms over just about everything present in Vvardenfell, there are other areas of note here that "Elder Scrolls Online" players may want to visit once the expansion is officially released.

Areas such as Balmora and the Bitter Coast still feature verdant locales, while those players who take the trip to The Ashlands will see surroundings that aren't quite as pleasing to the eye but are still interesting nonetheless.

It is also worth noting that the "The Elder Scrolls III's" version of Vvardenfell was frequently affected by vicious ashstorms that brought all kinds of problems for its residents, according to The Elder Scrolls Wiki, but whether these will still be present in the new expansion remains to be seen.

In addition to these new locations, more enemies and other notable features are also expected to be included in the "Morrowind" expansion.

"The Elder Scrolls Online" players will be able to see all these new additions for themselves once the massive expansion is officially released for the game on June 6.
