'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim' Nintendo Switch Coming This Year

The excitement around the release of "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" for the Nintendo Switch is mounting, but Bethesda Game Studios is still silent about the matter.

What fans can count on is that the game will find its way to Nintendo's newly released console later this year so they can expect new information about the offering in the months to come.

Details on specific release date as well as the features of "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" unique to the Nintendo Switch version should be revealed as well. However, information about this has actually been revealed in the past by both Nintendo and Bethesda.

The Nintendo Switch version of the action role-playing game is deemed superior than the original in the graphics department, which means that "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" will look much better played on the console than on PC.

This improvement is due to the 4K resolution support of the Nintendo Switch and its all-around improvement on the display. Additionally, the console also allows for immersive gameplay.

With Bethesda and Nintendo's appearance at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017, fans could only hope there would be talk of "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" there.

The event will take place on June 14 to 16. Whether or not the game will be part of the presentation at the event, fans will just have to wait and see.

Although a specific release date is yet to be announced, Nintendo has stated in the past that "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" will be out and about by fall 2017, which means that the game might arrive to the Switch console as early as September with November being the latest.

The game is also available for preorder already on Amazon and the Australia-based retailer, EB Games. The former has the release date listed for Dec. 29, which could simply be a placeholder date.
