'The Flash' Season 1 Spoilers, Cast News: 2 'Arrow' Cast Headed for Central City in 'Revenge of the Nerd'

Yet another crossover will happen between two of today's TV show favorites "The Flash" and "Arrow" as reports indicate that two of the latter's cast members are headed for Central City.

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg confirmed the news that "Arrow's" Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) will once again pay Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and friends a visit. Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) will also join Felicity in the upcoming 18th episode of the superhero show, according to Variety.

Aptly called "All-Star Team-Up," Kreisberg said that the segment will "justify Felicity's earlier appearance" in the DC TV series, which was on episode 4 "Going Rogue."

"It really was integrated into the story. When you reach what's going on in 'The Flash' at that point in the season, Barry is really at a crossroads. Having Felicity come by exactly when he needs her really plays into the whole storyline," he said.

The techie Ray Palmer will also be more than "happy" to see what STAR Labs has.

"We get to see Ray so happy to be in STAR Labs … With Cisco [Carlos Valdes] and Ray, they're new best friends. The STAR Labs team is going to help Ray further his ATOM project," Kreisberg went on to say.

For the meantime, this week's showing will feature the Pied Piper (Andrew Mientus) in Episode 11 titled "Revenge of the Nerd."

Spoiler reports suggest that the nerd Hartley Rathaway, who was once the protégée of Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), will come in conflict with the Red Streak as he seeks revenge on his mentor after the failed particle accelerator incident.

Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) will now be working with the Central City Picture News as their newest cub reporter. The synopsis however said that Iris' new job won't be easy for her as she will be working with a veteran reporter who apparently "wants nothing to do with her."

"The Flash" Episode 11 airs this Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
