Gustin, meanwhile shared a photo of himself on Instagram and captioned it with:

"I just got wrapped on season 1 of The Flash & the sun is up."

The season ender Episode 23 titled "Fast Enough" is slated to air this coming May 19 and is rumoured to see the collaboration of Arrow and the Flash as they take on the powerful Reverse Flash.

This week's episode, for the meantime, will set the stage for yet another huge development in the mystery behind Dr. Wells' (Tom Cavanagh) secret identity.

According to the synopsis posted by The Futon Critic, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Cisco will take off to Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) Starling City to continue their investigation on the mysterious S.T.A.R. Labs scientist whom they suspected as the person behind the death of Barry's mother.

While in town, the two Central City folks will call on the help of Captain Lance (guest star Paul Blackthorne) to learn more information about Dr. Wells. Cisco, on the other hand, will be delighted to meet the Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), who asks him for a favour.

Back in Central City, the Red Streak will meet an interesting meta-human named Hannibal Bates (guest star Martin Novotny) who has the ability to transform himself into every person he get to touch with and this would include CCPD's Eddie (Rick Cosnett), Iris (Candice Patton), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and even the Flash himself.

"The Flash" Season 1 airs Monday on The CW.
