'The Flash' Season 1 Spoilers, News: What Fans Should Expect in 'Fallout'?

Things are getting more interesting and at the same time complicated in the hit superhero TV drama series "The Flash" as this week's episode will have to tackle a great deal about the death of Barry's (Grant Gustin) mother and time travel.

Last week, fans saw Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) employing Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to help him re-investigate the murder case of Barry's mom. The findings that day were truly shocking for both the S.T.A.R. Labs genius and the police officer. It was revealed that the traces of blood found in the crime scene have the DNA of a much older Barry Allen.

A lot of fans suspects that Dr. Wells' (Tom Cavanagh) Reverse Flash has something to do with the murder but putting the Flash into the mix just makes the story even more complicated.

For the meantime, the Scarlet Speedster has other matters to face at the moment. While the attempt to separate Ronnie (Robbie Amell) and Dr. Stein (Victor Garber) has been successful, the celebration will be a bit short lived as synopsis for tonight's episode titled "Fallout" indicated that General Eiling (Clancy Brown) will return to Central City to once again meddle with the issue concerning FIRESTORM.

A full summary was posted on The Futon Critic where it reads:

"After the nuclear explosion separates Ronnie and Dr. Stein, Barry and the team believe both men are safe. Caitlinis thrilled to have her fiancé back and prepares to resume their life together while Dr. Stein returns to his wife. However, when General Eiling targets Firestorm, Ronnie and Dr. Stein must decide if they are safer together or apart."

"Meanwhile, Mason Bridge (guest star Roger Hayworth) tells Iris (Candice Patton) that there is something secretive going on at S.T.A.R. Labs and Dr. Stein gives Barry some important information about time travel," the summary continues.

"The Flash" Season 1 Episode 14 airs this Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
