'The Fosters' Season 3 Spoilers: Callie's Relationship With Brandon Takes A Toll, Stef and Lena Crisis is A Relatable One
The summer finale for the 3rd season of ABC Family's hit drama TV series "The Fosters" is already here and spoiler reports indicated that Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Brandon's (David Lambert) complicated relationship will take a toll. Meanwhile, a cast member talks about the eroding marriage between Stef and Lena.
The synopsis for the episode titled "Lucky" said that Callie will be facing the court to determine the consequences of her actions, all while holding a secret that could change everything.
The previous episode saw Callie and Brandon finally giving in to each other after the teenagers were convinced that Callie won't be adopted.

Mitchell said that it would be too late for Callie when she realized that her adoption case isn't entirely off the table. She teased that the character has to deal with this complicated relationship she shared with Brandon plus other surprising development that will erupt during her day in court.
The synopsis also talked about Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum) setting aside their issues as they host the 40th anniversary party for Lena's parents.
During an interview with Yahoo! TV, Saum strongly believes that Stef and Lena will make it through their marriage trials. Fans may remember Stef findng out about Lena sharing a kiss with her boss.
"I definitely have hope for this couple," she explained. "I think that no matter what's going on, they have a fierce love for each other."
Saum, in fact, see the trials her character has been going through is "highly relatable" for everyone.
"It's a really natural situation that can come up. When you have so many kids in the house and so many crises day after day, you neglect each other. It's a recipe for the erosion of your marriage," she told Yahoo. "Everybody experiences this in some way or another, married or just boyfriend-girlfriend. I think it's highly relatable."
"The Fosters" Season 3 summer finale airs this Monday, Aug. 17, at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
