'The Get Down' Season 1 Episode 7 Spoilers, Premiere Date

Netflix "The Get Down" will feature the same cast playing the same characters, with the same drama and music that fans have come to love.

One of the least-known series in Netflix is slowly gaining popularity as it has already finished six explosive episodes for its first season. "The Get Down" is a colorful and extravagant look at the beginnings of hip-hop set in the late 1970s.

A growing number of Netflix viewers are now asking what's next for "The Get Down" now that it has finished its initial episodes. Viewers are also interested to know what will happen to Ezekiel (Justice Smith) and his childhood friends in Episode 7.

The first six episodes of "The Get Down" premiered on August 12, while the second installment is rumored to air at a yet undetermined date next year. Co-creator Stephen Adly Guirigs said that splitting the season was the decision of series producer Sony Pictures TV and Netflix, which wanted to immediately show the first six episodes after two and a half years of production. The two media giants simply wanted to get things started so they released the first six episodes at once.

Guirigs said that while the show's staff was okay about this arrangement, this affected the show creatively. He said that writers wrote the story to be happening one after the other. The full episode count for the entire season is still undecided. It is still unknown if they will do 12 or 13 episodes.

Season 1 returns for episode 7

Writers and creators of "The Get Down" say that fans and viewers should expect more drama, music, and political themes in the next season. There are still no specific plots for the upcoming episodes, and as of press time, there are no titles for the episodes yet.

The only thing that viewers know is that the original cast will be back for the next half of Season 1. Justice Smith, Shameik Moore, Skylan Brooks, Jaden Smith, Jimmy Smits, Herizen Guardiola, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are just some of the names that viewers should expect next season.

'Raise Your Words, Not Your Voice'

In episode 6 'Raise Your Words, Not Your Voice', viewers were left with a view of the streets of Bronx where Dizzee (Jaden Smith) had a new experience at a secret party somewhere in the city. An awesome DJ battle was set and the guys were all excited about it. Episode 6 was filled with explosive music and drama.

Fans anticipate that the next episodes will have the same emotional feel, as the same cast return to play their usual exciting roles.

Episode 7 of "The Get Down" Season 1 will air in 2017, with the exact date to be announced soon.
