'The Good Wife' Season 6 Finale News, Spoilers: Executive Producer Robert King Reveals Finale Details

Fans of the hit legal and political TV drama series "The Good Wife" have been rummaging for clues as to what to expect during the show's Season 6 finale episode. Here's what we heard.

A report from Enstarz cited a recent interview of the show's executive producer and the finale's director Robert King with TV Line in which he discussed the importance of Kalinda's (Archie Panjabi) return for the season finale.

"We obviously knew we had Archie 'til the end of the year — and she was excited to do more — so we wanted to have these little encores," King said.

"This was instinctual. We didn't really have a plan. At one point we were thinking, 'Wouldn't it be fun if we ended Kalinda's story much earlier than everyone [expected]?' But then stories came out of that, and this is the one that felt like it would be the most satisfying in the long run to fans," he continued.

Her return would of course tackle on the mystery of the note she left for Alicia (Julianna Margulies).

In an interview with E! Onine, Maguilies teasing what fans should expect with the letter.

"Here's what I'll say: You won't be disappointed," the actress, who recently got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said. "I'm just saying, you won't be disappointed."

Other than that, there's also some other issues that King pointed out back with TV Line.

"Other than the note to Alicia, what Alicia and Kalinda think of each other now that they've all been humbled by the experience of the last six years. They had a breakup, essentially, at the end of Season 2. What they feel about all that has happened, I would say," the showrunner went on to say.

The season finale for "The Good Wife" Season 6 titled "Wanna Partner" is slated to air this Sunday, May 10, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
