The Heirs' Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye Voted Fans' Favorite South Korean Actors

"City Hunter" star Lee Min Ho and "Doctors" star Park Shin Hye are the top South Korean actors of today, based on the result of a survey conducted among Korean Wave fans based in the United States by the Korea Creative Content Agency.

The survey was reportedly conducted among thousands of Korean Wave fans, of which 4,700 voted Min Ho and Shin Hye as their favorite Korean actor and actress. The two were co-stars in the hit Korean drama "The Heirs," which aired in 2014.

For the Favorite Actress category, Shin Hye was followed by "Jealousy Incarnate" star Gong Hyo Jin and "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" star Lee Ji Eun, more popularly known as IU. In 2015, both of them starred in "The Producers."

As for Shin Hye, the actress starred in "Doctor Crush," "Gogh, The Starry Night" and "Entertainer" last year. She just finished filming for her new movie, tentatively titled "Silence."

For the Favorite Actor category, Min Ho was followed by Lee Joon Gi and Lee Jong Suk. Joon Gi previously starred in "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" with IU, while Jong Suk starred in "First Seven Kisses" and "W." He also guest starred in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" in 2016.

This 2017, Jong Suk will have a new series on SBS, "While You Were Sleeping," wherein his on-screen partner will be Min Ho's real-life girlfriend, Suzy of girl group Miss A. According to reports, the upcoming series will focus on a woman who has the strange ability of seeing unfortunate events in her dreams. In the series, Jong Suk will play a man named Jae Chan, the man who will stop Suzy's character's dreams from coming true.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Min Ho and Shin Hye will reunite in the "City Hunter" sequel. Reports claim that Shin Hye will replace Min Ho's ex-girlfriend, Park Min Young, as the actor's on-screen partner.
