'The Last: Naruto the Movie' Release Date, Rumors: Additional Art Works Leaked, Manga Nearing Its End

There will be a new Naruto anime flick which is to be titled "The Last: Naruto the Movie." It is slated to hit Japanese theaters on Dec. 6 this year. Further information revealed that manga series creator Masashi Kishimoto has joined the crew in writing the script as well as making the character designs.

The film is the tenth in the list of full-length films based on the manga series. In the 40th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, it disclosed additional details of character designs for some of the major characters in the story including Rock Lee, Gaara, Temari, and many more.

"His gourd is compact! ...The biggest change is the largeness of his gourd! It's chained to his belt with a second belt over it," Anime News Network reported of Gaara.

Also specified is Temari's design: "Her strong eyes are going strong! ...Her hair has become pigtails! Allure can be felt from her strong eyes."

Chouji, on the other hand "got even bigger around the belly!? ...He has a bit of a beard on his chin, and his hair is short."

While for Tenten, "Her feminity has gone up even more! ...The energetic girl has grown to be a beautiful woman. Her hairstyle and clothes have also been updated!!"

Also included is the much improved design for Rock Lee: "His expression is gallant! ...The angles on his face have become sharper, and he has become more manly."

The movie will arrive just in time for the 15th anniversary of the popular Naruto manga, which is now nearing to its end.

This rumors has been shed light by Kishimoto himself.

"The battle of Naruto and his comrades is in its final phase, in the truest sense of the term," the creator said. "About the Ten Tails, about Madara, and then, about Sasuke … I will continue to raise the tension without restraint, in every way I can! Please follow this story of a boy named Naruto a little while longer, I will greatly appreciate it."
