The Mentalist Season 6 Finale Live Stream Free: Watch New Episode 'Blue Bird' Online (CBS TV Start Time)

The Mentalist Season 6 Finale takes place on Sunday night with what is set to be a dramatic finale episode airing on the CBS network. The new episode will air at 10 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through free live stream (details below).

Fans will be eager to see whether Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon are finally getting together, but that is far from settled, especially with Agent Pike as the other love interest. It appears as though Robin Tunney's character will have difficulty choosing.

Executive Producer Bruno Heller has indicated that the finale episode titled Blue Bird is going to be the romantic finale everyone is waiting for.

TV Guide reported, "It's a romantic finale rather than a [suspenseful] finale. With the death of Red John, there's a sense of tying [things] up and certainly this romantic angle is one of them."

According to CBS, "In the sixth-season finale, a new lead in a cold case surfaces, forcing Lisbon to postpone her plans to relocate, and this delay allows Jane to examine his feelings for her and decide how to proceed."

Jane and Lisbon have long been such close friends that the prospect of them moving things up to a new level is a daunting prospect for both. Things could end in disaster, and they could lose one of their best friends, so there is apprehension as they come closer to getting together.

"It left the two of them without an excuse to decide where that relationship was going. They had always been able to keep it separate. Those questions start bubbling up and the rest of the season was the resolution of those questions," Heller told The Hollywood Reporter.

The Mentalist Season 6 Finale airs on Sunday May 18, at 10 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through free live stream by clicking here.
