The Most Hilarious School Closing Message Ever!

How often does the principal tell your kids to watch TV, play video games, and maybe – just maybe – read a book? I bet he sings it to "Bohemian Rhapsody" – every time!

"So everyone grab a snuggie and watch TV, or play the Wii, and maybe reeeeaaaad!" This hilarious video captures the joy of parents who get to keep their kids at home, and breaks the news to them in style.

It begins like any routine school announcement – "Hello, Stephen's parents! This is Mr. Detweiller" – but instead of the usual "school is closed tomorrow," the principal presents, "here it is, another entertaining school closing message."

After a second of silence, the principal and his friend break into song. Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" captures the school closing spirit, as the chorus builds to the final announcement.

"We just got a call, breaking news, school is closed, school is closed – sorry parents – for another day! Watch out for frostbiting, very very frightening…School is canceled! School is canceled! School is canceled! School is canceled!" Why? "Because it's coooooold."

Then comes the kids' favorite part – the once-in-a-lifetime chance to hear their principal tell them to watch TV! As the principal's friend breaks into the sweet guitar riff of "Bohemian Rhapsody," the head of the school says, "That's right, boys and girls, we are canceled for tomorrow!"
