'The Newsroom' Season 3 Spoilers, News: Finale Season to See an FBI Raid, Low Ratings for ACN

It's only be a matter of weeks before the hit TV drama series "The Newsroom" returns for its third and final season which will premiere this coming Sunday, Nov. 9 on HBO.

Fans will once again see Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) together with the ACN team to tackle the Boston Marathon bombing incident in April 2013. A recently-released spoiler report from TV Guide revealed some details about the season opener.

As said, Will, Mac (Emily Mortimer) and the rest of the "News Night" will opt to be very extra careful in covering the bombing incident following the Genoa debacle which almost sunk the station in the previous season.

By being careful, meaning they have to wait for the reports to be 100 percent accurate. In doing so, they end up being last on the major developments of the event as well as coming way behind in terms of ratings.

Another spoiler report from The Futon Critic, which cited an official press release from HBO, said that the Newsroom will be raided with the FBI. As revealed, Dev Patel's Neal Samphat was being sent with leaked government files disclosing the "false press stories planted in newspapers" that "spawned fatal riots in Kundu."

As it turns out, the possession of the documents was deemed illegal and this will once again put ACN in trouble.

Meanwhile, Olivia Munn's Sloan will look for solution about a "takeover puzzle." Elsewhere, Maggie (Alison Pill) will substitute for Elliot (David Harbour) in covering the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings.

"The Newsroom" Season 3, premiere episode entitled, "Boston," will air Nov. 9, at 9 p.m. on HBO.
