As Naz spends time in court, his mother and father attend his hearing, but with different reactions on the case. Naz's mother does not speak to her son and does not even look at him. Fans found it rather unusual for her to storm out of the courtroom after seeing evidence presented against Naz. On the other hand, his father remained supportive, but he found it hard when the community accused him and his wife for keeping a criminal in their home.

Naz remembers Andrea

Another surprising part of the episode was when Chandra and Naz kissed unexpectedly. Chandra was quite flustered afterwards. But Naz thought about two things—first was the thought of Andrea bathed in blood on the bed, and is the red light. Naz was in Andrea's room while it was night time. He also recalled turning the light switch on and seeing her hand; there was no inhaler nearby.

The mystery of the inhaler

Naz admitted that the inhaler was his. Box said that he took the inhaler from the crime scene and returned it to Naz, since he knew he needed it. There were a lot of insights about Box's actions, especially when Chandra said that that she saw this action in a rather different manner. She said that this may have played an important role in the killing, since he may have stabbed the victim 22 times while taking a whiff of his Ventolin inhaler in between strikes.

Viewers may have seen Naz using the same inhaler one too many times. And this may also have made them think that Naz was simply making the story up. It can be recalled that he used the same excuse to distract the prison guard. He may have also used asthma as an excuse to engage in many activities, making him some sort of sociopath, according to some reports.

An ordinary murder?

A body was discovered at the start of the episode and reports were speculating if this was an ordinary murder or a coincidence. Viewers are asking if this will be revealed on the show's next episode with the title 'The Call of the Wild'.

'The Call of the Wild' spoilers

Freddy gave Naz a gift—a book called "The Call of the Wild". He said that this will help Naz learn how to survive in prison.

Apparently, this is also the title of the next episode of "The Night Of." This is the series finale of the controversial HBO series. A controversy regarding the defense will place Stone in the spotlight this time. Fans will also get the chance to find out what happens to Naz's trial in this climactic episode.

'The Call of the Wild' debuts on HBO on August 28, at 9 p.m. It will also be shown on the same day at 11:50 p.m. and 2:30 a.m., on August 29 at 11:45 p.m., and on August 30 at 6:20 p.m.
