'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Can the Mikaelson Siblings Fight Dahlia From Getting Baby Hope?

Things are definitely getting more intense as the second season of the hit supernatural TV drama series "The Originals" continues this week with a brand new episode titled "City Beneath the Sea."

Last episode saw how cunning Dahlia (guest star Claudia Black) can be when she framed Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in Aiden's (Colin Woodell) murder. Her plans to divide the Mikaelsons eventually succeeded as Elijah (Daniel Gillies) drove a dagger straight to Klaus' heart.

Will the siblings be able to hold off their evil aunt now that they've lost their wild card?

A report from Latin Post cited executive producer Michael Narducci in an interview with E! News saying that the current situation will leave everyone struggling.

"They're going to stand up to someone who is the most powerful thing we've seen in this universe, and they're going to have to find a way to deal with her without the most dangerous member of their family," the showrunner said.

"This is the beginning of the storm that will take us through the end of this season. By now, the family is a house divided. This is going to put the people we care about in the most jeopardy we've ever seen. That is the story we're going to tell in the last three episodes," he went on to tease.

Josh (Steven Krueger), on his part, suffers from the loss of Aiden. The vampire won't take the situation lightly as he is said to seek revenge on who really killed Aiden.

"That's a big part of the next episode. Josh is wrecked by this," Narducci went on to say.

"The Originals" Season 2 airs this Monday, April 27, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
