The second season of the hit supernatural TV drama series "The Originals" is definitely getting more intense and exciting as Dahlia (guest star Claudia Black) wreaks havoc in New Orleans and threatens the family who protects Baby Hope from her.
In the previous episode of the series, avid followers were able to witness the extremely powerful witch coming over to town with one thing in mind: to seize Baby Hope.
Desperate to ward off his evil aunt, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) opted to call on Mikael (guest star Sebastian Roche) to ask for his help. However, their acquaintance erupted into a violent conflict and ended up with the elder Mikaelson dead.

With the continuing threats from Dahlia, the upcoming episode titled "When the Levee Breaks" will see everyone working together to protect Hope as well as free New Orleans from the evil witch.
A synopsis posted on Dread Central indicates that the forthcoming segment will certainly set the "bloody showdown" between the forces of good and evil as Dahlia gives Klaus and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) a deadline to turn over Baby Hope or else hell will break loose.
With the intention to help his brother, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will attempt to convince Klaus that they need to collaborate in their fight against their aunt. Klaus, however, will barge on ahead with his "own dangerous plan," which will then leave everyone concerned about his next move.
Hayley, upon seeing the dire situation that she and her baby are in, will "devise a risky plan" that will enlist Aiden's (guest star Colin Woodell) assistance.
The summary went on to mention that Freya (Riley Voekel) will prompt Rebekah (Maisie Richarson-Sellers) and Elijah about that thing she wanted. Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), on the other hand, will strategize a plan to make Klaus realize his "erratic behaviour."
