'The Originals' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Klaus Goes into Villainous Mode as He Searches for Revenge

Things are about to get dark and messy as the second season of the hit supernatural TV drama series "The Originals" continues this week with a brand new episode titled "Fire with Fire."

Last week in "The City Beneath the Sea," Klaus (Joseph Morgan) was stabbed by his brother Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and put in a coffin as the rest of the Mikaelsons tried to stop their wicked Aunt Dahlia (guest star Claudia Black) from getting her hands on Baby Hope.

A synopsis posted on The Futon Critic indicated that after realizing Dahlia's real intentions with Hope and also fueled by the resentment he felt for his siblings' betrayal, fans will once again see a Klaus back in his villainous self.

A report from Enstars cited executive producers Michael Narducci and Julie Plec teasing, in a sneak peek video provided by The CW, how dangerous it can be to have the powerful Mikaelson get into the other side.

"The scariest thing in the world is when our masked murdering, manipulative, evil witch Dahlia manages to get her fingers on Klaus Mikaelson," Narducci told Enstarz. "She has convinced him that the best way to save his child is to team up with her and to stand against his own family."

"This is Klaus like we haven't seen him in a really long time, this is Klaus out for blood," Plec meanwhile chimed in. "And it's awesome."

On the other hand, Elijah, Rebekah (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Freya (Riley Voekel) move forward with plan to entrap Dahlia and end the trouble, once and for all.

"The Originals" Season 2 airs Monday at 8 p.m. on The CW.
