'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 2 'Alive and Kicking' Will See A Family Reunion of the Mikaelsons

Hit fantasy drama spin-off of "The Vampire Diaries" "The Originals" kicked off last Monday, Oct. 6 with its season 4 opener on The CW.

On next week, TO S4 will be back with more suspense and drama with its second episode entitled "Alive & Kicking." As the name suggested, it looks like fans of the series will find their favorite Mikaelson siblings, Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt) finally meeting their parents who are brought back from the dead.

This speculation was shed light when the Season 2 premiere ended with Esther (now residing in the body of Cassie played by Natalie Dreyfuss) telling the brothers that they should expect a family reunion.

Meanwhile, tensions between Elijah and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) escalated to a certain degree that Klaus has to step in. In hopes that they could make their daughter return home, Klaus explained to Hayley the importance of her taking back her position within the pack and take control of New Orleans.

However, she will be contested by Esther who thinks she deserved the role of the Queen after Peta Segeant's Francesca died.

The episode summary from The Futon Critic further indicated Elijah coming to Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) to ask help in tracking down a vital piece of information. He will then be forced to look back at the past when they were still on "better terms."

The flashback scene will take place during the 1700's era and will introduce guest star Nathaniel Buzolic.

"The Originals" Season 4 episode 2 "Alive & Kicking" airs on Monday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
