Klaus now has to do something that he is not cut out for. He is shown as never taking responsibility and it is always Elijah who does the right thing. In this episode, he is pushed into a corner by Aurora's machinations and he tries desperately to save Cami. Klaus seems totally at the mercy of Aurora as she taunts him to follow a set of clues and try to find Cami.

The synopsis of this episode states: "After learning that Cami's life is in danger and Aurora may be to blame, Klaus is forced to engage in another one of her devious games and follows a series of clues she's left behind for him. Meanwhile, Elijah, Freya and Hayley take drastic measures against Tristan when they discover he holds a valuable piece of information they need. Elsewhere, Aya gives Marcel an ultimatum that leaves him with a difficult decision to make, while tensions between Hayley and Jackson cause her to re-evaluate her involvement in Mikaelson family matters."

In the previous episode, The Trinity chapter is getting complicated and the character of Aurora is bordering on lunacy and she is doing crazy things. Klaus is actually scared of her and is frightened that Cami has disappeared. It was a good thing that Tristan had kept her locked all these years but now she is back and hell bent on creating trouble for the Mikaelson family.

Klaus and Elijah have a long battle forward. A demonic beast is coming for their family, their sister is trapped at the bottom of the ocean and they have to recoup and rejoin their forces to fight on all fronts.
