'The Originals' Spoilers: 'Huge Scenes' Promised in Finale; Daniel Sharman Hired for Season 2

"The Originals" first season is drawing to a close with the finale set to air Tuesday entitled "From a Cradle to a Grave."

Just as The CW renewed the drama for a second season, fans are gearing up for the culmination of season one, which promises adventure as well as high emotions. The dramatic television series is a spin-off of the hit show "The Vampire Diaries" and kicked off its first season last year. Fans have gravitated toward the Original Family, including Klaus Mikaelson, the original vampire-werewolf hybrid who has returned to New Orleans where his siblings reside. This week, Joseph Morgan, who portrays Klaus, offered fans a preview of a "huge" moment in "From a Cradle to a Grave."

"First of all, the last two episodes are absolutely action-packed and emotionally-charged," the actor told TV Line. "They're huge episodes, and my last scene is going to be big, emotional, huge. It's everything coming together. And you're going to see another scene, and that one's going to make you go, 'Oh, I want to watch season two right now!' That's about the sum of it."

Morgan confirmed that his character makes a "heartbreaking decision" in the finale, but offered few details.

"I'll tell you this: it's the last scene I have in the entire season, and it was very emotional for me to play," he said. "It was also very necessary for the character."

Meanwhile, "The Originals" fans have even more to look forward to in the upcoming season since showrunners just cast "Teen Wolf" star Daniel Sherman as Kaleb, a devilishly charming new witch on the show, according to E! News.

"The Originals" airs on the CW Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST. The synopsis for "From a Cradle to a Grave" is as follows: "Season 1 ends with Hayley trying to protect her unborn baby from the witches. Meanwhile, Francesca meets with Oliver and Jackson to determine the future of the werewolves in New Orleans; and Davina and Cami join forces to take down Klaus, who is forced to make a heartbreaking decision."
