The Pussycat Doll Super Bowl Comeback

The Pussycat Dolls are back and rumored to be making a Super Bowl comeback. The girl group has returned but without Nicole Scherzinger, or any of the other girls.

The Pussycat Dolls were constructed by choreographer Robin Antin, as a burlesque troupe in 1995. However after receiving worldwide recognition they signed a record deal with Interscope Records in 2003 and became known as a musical group instead.

Now, according to US Weekly, Robin Antin, has introduced an all-new line up of girls who will make their first appearance in a Super Bowl commercial. The new recruits include: Chrystina Sayers from Girlicious, Lauren Bennett from Paradiso Girls, Paula Van Oppen from So You Think You Can Dance, Vanessa Curry, a former Laker Girl, and Erica Jenkins, a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

Go Daddy will be launching the commercial along with along with one featuring Danica Patrick. Go Daddy has already been the center of controversy for launching what some believe to be inappropriate ads, however it has received some success for its efforts.

GoDaddy.com is an Internet domain registrar and web hosting company that also sells software and other services. After running two ads in the Super Bowl during the 2008 game, Go Daddy reported that the orders they received had increased by 110 percent. Both of the ads featured Danica Patrick, one that featured her showering while college boys fantasized about her with another woman.

Antin gave MTV a very positive review of her new group. "The dancing is spectacular. Everyone is amazing," Antin said. "It's the exact right recipe for the new Pussycat Dolls. We just did the Go Daddy commercial, Super Bowl spot -- really excited about it. It's sexy and all that. It's a quick look for people to see the girls together for the first time."

Antin is also currently promoting a new "Pussycat Dolls" workout video. "Want a dancers body any 1?...Dancers Body Workout" Antin last week. She also talked about working with the press to promote the new video and dinner with the new Pussycat Dolls in New York. "Sitting with my beautiful girls at dinner in NY," she tweeted.

This has been an unfortunately unlucky week for Nicole Scherzinger, who has not only been replaced as a Pussycat Doll but also let go as a judge on "The X-Factor."
