'The Real Housewives of New York City' Premiere Recap: Bethenny Frankel Is at It Again

The premiere of "The Real Housewives of New York City" on Wednesday hinted that trouble is on the way for newbie Julianne Wainstein as Bethenny Frankel once again started digging around her life.

Apparently, Frankel isn't pleased with Wainstein's looks, telling Dorinda Medley that she thinks the newcomer is too thin. "She looks like a really thin girl—like, she looks like there is an issue. I wrote a book called Naturally Thin. This is not naturally thin," she said, according to U.S. Weekly.

Frankel isn't the one who will stop at nothing and she went on to tell a listening Medley that Wainstein's thin frame is the kind that makes other people "uncomfortable." She then explained that the reason why she knows is because her own mother had an eating disorder. "I had a mother who had an eating disorder, and I've been around it, and I understand it," she remarked.

While it appeared as if no one else from the group who enjoyed a lunch date heard Frankel's comments about the newcomer, it is expected that Wainstein will learn about what Frankel has to say about her in the near future.

Meanwhile, the group still seemed to dislike Medley's boyfriend a lot. Though no one really said much about their feelings for John, the group date appeared to be a mess because of John's repeated jokes that no one seemed to grasp.

Frankel once again took her guns and brought up Medley and John's extreme drinking spree at the Hamptons the past summer. Medley immediately defended herself and John, who is moving in with her soon. She said the issue shouldn't be brought up as it's part of the past.

It's only the first episode that's come and gone but fans are expecting more of Frankel's outbursts and comments in the coming weeks.

"The Real Housewives of New York City" airs every Wednesday, 9 PM on Bravo TV.
