'The Simpsons' Season 27 News; Marge and Homer Debunk Break-Up Rumors

There are still more than a couple of months before the highly-anticipated 27th season of the long-running animated TV series "The Simpsons" premieres on Fox. However, the summer was filled with a lot of reports indicating Bart's demise in the hands of Sideshow Bob and the impending breakup between Marge and Homer.

The latter rumor apparently took the public by storm. Several speculations both going for and against the said break-up proliferated the Internet. What a better way to address the rumor than to have the concerned parties speak up about the issue?

A report from TV Line cited a new video released by the network featuring the beloved characters blasting reports about the fall-out of their union in such a hilarious way.

"Hello. Homie and I are here to address baseless rumors that we are going to split up," Marge speaks up while in a room with her family and a huge banner that reads "Together Forever" was hanging in the background. "The story was first reported on CNN, then the real news started reporting it all over the world… "

"Now listen here," Homer later interjects. "Margie and I are as solid as a rock," he went on to say as he shows off his wife's huge ring.

The pair then goes on with their usual bickering and then Homer gets shot by Baby Marge's toy arrow.

The news did came out first pointing out that the upcoming season of the show would involve Marge legally separating with Homer, who is falling for a pharmacist.

Regardless of which, fans will find out how the storyline unfolds when "The Simpsons" returns to their Fox timeslot this Sept. 27, 2015.
