Eph and Nora, on the other hand, were successful, at least for the meantime, to find a microbe that could destroy the vampire's brain tissue.

A set of flashback scenes also revealed the connection between Setrakian and Palmer and on their quest to get hold of Sardu's sword cane as well as the Occido Lumen.

One of the highlights in the episode however showed Kelly's dominion over the Feelers.

Spoiler reports for this week's segment titled "Fort Defiance" indicated that Kelly will be utilizing her undead minions to find her son, Zach. Eph, on the other hand, will learn of this plan long before it began.

In a preview clip provided by the network, Eph is seen testing on the strigoi subject and exclaimed that "they plan on sending my vampire wife after my boy."

The official synopsis posted right over at Hollywood Hills further revealed that Eph's struggle to connect with Zack will continue. The kid is understandably mad at his father for not doing anything about his "sick" mother.

Meanwhile, Gus and Vaun will commence their attack on Palmer.

"The Strain" Season 2 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on FX.
