The Twilight Saga: 'Breaking Dawn Part 1' Promises More Gore
The first part of the final "Twilight" movie will hit theaters next month and the spoiler promises plenty of blood.
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1," follows a now pregnant Bella (Kristen Stewart), as she is about to give birth to Edward's (Robert Pattinson) living vampire child.
Earlier reports said that the birthing scene was horrific and featured a broken spine and intense blood loss.

Bill Condon, the director of the film, said he was proud of the movie and felt the blood and gore helped distinguish the movie from the more low key feelings of other films.
Despite some intense scenes, the film was rated PG-13.
“I think within the confines of a PG-13 rating, I think we’ve got something that’s pretty powerful, and in terms of the birth, it was, 'Let’s do it from Bella’s point of view. Let’s see whatever she can see,'” said Condon.
“Once you decide on an approach like that, it’s amazing how powerful you can be without being overly explicit. She gets glimpses of a lot of things – and hears everything – but it’s not the cutaway to teeth clawing through flesh. But you certainly know what’s happening," he added.
Condon told Entertainment Weekly, "We shot everything, whether it's the lovemaking or the childbirth, as potent and powerful as it can be. It will be interesting to see whether there will be people who think it too disturbing for this universe."
According to Kristen Stewart, she wishes some of the scenes were even more graphic.
"The birth is really effective, and I've heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that's how it was written in the book," she said.
The new movie is slated for a Nov. 18 release.
