'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 News, Spoilers: Damon and Elena Getting Cozy at Jo and Alaric's Wedding Day, Will Elena Take the Cure?

This week's episode of the hit supernatural TV drama series "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 titled "I'd Leave My Happy Home for You," will tackle on the issue of whether or not Elena (Nina Dobrev) will take the cure for her vampirism. Meanwhile, a slew of promo images for the show's May 7 episode features Elena and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) getting cozy with each other during a wedding ceremony.

A synopsis for Episode 20 was posted on The Futon Critic and it indicates that Damon and Elena will talk about the potion that could free them from the vampiric curse. Dazed and confused with the options, Elena seeks out Jo (Lyn O'Keefe) and Bonnie's (Kat Graham) advice on the issue.

Fans may already know that it was Bonnie who gave them the cure. However, Elena will be caught in a dilemma when the young witch "raises some unanticipated concerns."

Meanwhile, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will enlist Stefan's (Paul Wesley) help concerning Lily (guest star Annie Wersching) as she goes on a "dangerous downward spiral." Will the elder Salvatore be able to hold off his mother?

On related news, the highly anticipated unification of Jo and Alaric is finally happening in episode 21 titled "I'll Wed You in the Golden Summertime."

TV Line shared a slew of images showing the bride and the groom dressed down in wedding attires. And then there's Damon and Elena, also in their formal get-up.

The pictures further show a great deal about the event. For one, there's Damon and Elena standing behind the would-be couple as best man and maid of honor. The two were also seen talking intimately with each other in the venue.
