'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Episode 12 Spoilers: Stefan Supports His Brother In Midst of Tribulations
The hit supernatural drama TV series from The CW, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7, returns this week with an all-new episode that will see Damon (Ian Somerhalder) continuing his descent, while his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley) tries to hold on to him. Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice King) is struggling with her pregnancy.
The synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "Postcards from the Edge" hints about Damon going more ballistic as the effects of the Phoenix stone gets a stronger grip on him. Finding his brother without a care in the world, Stefan will make attempts to put a stop to his rampage. However, Stefan's reaction is expected when he finally learns about "the devastating reason for his [Damon's] descent."
The promo video released by the network for the episode featured Damon hanging out with Julian (Todd Lasance) in a bar. The latter's influence on the protagonist just makes the situation even more complicated. Damon eventually gets into a fight which quickly escalates into a rumble. Stefan arrives at the scene and pulled his brother out from the chaos he started in the first place.

The summary from TFC also made mention of Caroline (Candice Accola King) who is now starting to experience the dangerous side effects of having a supernatural pregnancy. Her pains will eventually force her to call on Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) for some help. In another development, Bonnie (Kat Graham), Nora (guest star Scarlett Byrne) and Mary Louise (guest star Teressa Liane) will set off to hunt down a "ruthless vampire hunter" named Rayna (guest star Leslie-Anne Huff), when they begin to feel her presence.
