'The Walking Dead' News, Spoilers: Norman Reedus Says Daryl is 'Hanging by A Thread' in Season 6

Actor Norman Reedus recently spoke about his character Daryl's motivation in the next season of "The Walking Dead." One of the highlights is what has really been going on inside Daryl's head towards the end of Season 5 as well as what the fans should expect in Season 6.

"He's sort of in wild-animal mode at the moment. He trusts just those close people around him, and he's put into situations, like we all are on the show, that really call for you to put it out there, whether you trust people or don't trust people … I don't know," Reedus told Nerdist.

"You take a lot of wild animals and you put them in a domestic situation, and there's a lot of people biting at each other. Daryl's one of those people. He's a very quiet person, and if he snaps he really snaps. So he's kind of hanging by a thread as far as what he thinks of these people around him right now. It's a very complicated storyline that's happening right now in this season," the actor added.

Moving forward for the next installment of the hit zombie series, Reedus teased to the publication a "particularly complicated" season.

"There's lots of action and lots of drama and lots of sadness like we always bring, but this season's particularly complicated. The storylines are really interwoven with future and past. Certain things happen, and you're kind of like, "Wow, that just happened,'" he explained.

"A real mature sort of storytelling has really taken us over right now. It's super interesting and super thrilling," the 46-year-old said.

"The Walking Dead" Season 6 is set to debut this October on AMC.
