Lincoln stated, "It was a bit unsettling, but quite exciting being on set playing with these characters and messing around and just kicking back with these people. It was a lot of fun. And that is not an expression I've used that often in six years about The Walking Dead."

With that, the actor also stated that he hopes to see more romantic scenes with Michonne. The previous episode showed the two getting intimate for the first time, shocking many of the fans.

However, Lincoln hinted that there are more challenges for the group in the episodes to come. He explained that the series will introduce new characters that will give the group some issues. One of the most anticipated threat who will join the series is Negan.

Avid fans of the comic book are aware that Negan's presence will bring violence to the episodes to come. He is expected to question many of the characters' morality. It was said that he will bring a new vibe to the story, along with his group called "The Saviours."

"The Walking Dead" season 6 airs on AMC every Sunday nights.
