'The Walking Dead' Season 6 live stream [AMC start time]: Where to watch Episode 1 Premiere Online

Threat from Zombie Walkers and Human Wolves

"The Walking Dead" season 5 has ended, and season 6 is about to march in this Sunday, so fans are excited to see how Rick Grimes' group will handle the humongous zombie threat coming their way.

In the finale of "The Walking Dead" season 5, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) killed one of the residents of Alexandria Safe Zone, and season 6 will see his group gearing up for a huge threat from zombie walkers. But little do they know that a different group of creatures is lurking behind the walls of Alexandria, according to USA Today.

Grimes' group will team up with Alexandria residents in an attempt to topple the giant zombie group headed their way in "The Walking Dead" season 6. Over 600 zombies are coming their way, but they are also threats outside the secured village and they are called human Wolves. At the same time, the survivors will also face another challenge right inside the walls, and that is their ambivalent relationship with the residents of Alexandria.

Grimes will strive to come to terms with the loyalists in Alexandria, at the same time regroup with his co-survivors. He will also encounter a familiar face from the pilot episode — Morgan (Lennie James), the report details.

The Walking Dead executive producer Robert Kirkman explained that there are other kinds of people that transformed differently and have adapted to the environment in a different way. The human Wolves exist in the same place, he adds.

"The people of Alexandria aren't quite as prepared for this world as Rick and his crew are," USA Today quotes Kirkman. "We also have Wolves, who are perhaps closer to Rick's group than they are to the people of Alexandria, but have a much more savage way of life."

Meanwhile, there are several websites offering live streaming of "The Walking Dead" season 6's premiere episode. WetPaint lists a couple of sources where fans can subscribe to watch the premiere including iTunes, Netflix, Amazon Instant, and Side Reel.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 will premiere this Sunday, Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
