According to Cleveland, fans should not expect that "The Walking Dead" Season 7 trailer will bring much clues who among Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Carl (Chandler Riggs), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) was killed by Negan's barbed wire-covered baseball bat. Instead, the incoming trailer might just weave more questions about the fate of the characters in the next season.

AMC reportedly took military-style measures to conceal the secret by shooting important scenes of Season 7 in a safeguarded studio. The producers had also threatened to take legal action against the spoiler group "The Spoiling Dead Fans" if it will reveal Negan's victim ahead of the season premiere.

In a survey conducted by Digital Spy, fans voted Glenn as Negan's victim. One reader supported his theory by stripping an audio from the last scene of the season finale that appeared to sound Maggie's horrified voice screaming Glenn's name. Aside from Glenn, readers also picked Abraham as the most likely character who was brutally beaten to death by the antagonist.

Some People Already Knew Who Was Killed By Negan

While fans continue to find clues to satisfy their curiosity about the big question, there are few people who already knew the character who met grizzly death at Negan's hands. Greg Nicotero, "The Walking Dead" executive producer, told ComicBook.com that the incoming directors of the series were allowed to watch the rest of Negan's kill scene and they found it very disturbing.

Nicotero teased that those people who were able to watch the rest of the brutal beatdown turned emotional. "People cry which makes me happy and sad at the exact same time," he stated.

The premiere of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 trailer is scheduled on Friday at San Diego Comic-Con. The new season of the hit television series will be airing on AMC this October.
