'The Witcher 3' News, Update: 15th Free DLC Teases New Finishing Animation for Geralt, Patch 1.07 Issues Detailed

Gamers of CD Projekt Red's hit action-adventure game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" should be on the lookout this week for the arrival of the recently-announced free DLC.

The report from IGN.com, who picked up the announcement made by the company through their official Twitter account, said that this would be the second to the last add-on content of the well-received RPG.

The social media post from CDPR further indicates that the 15th DLC is called the "New Finisher Animations" which, as the title suggests, enables new finishing animations for Geralt of Rivia.

As expected, the Twitter post update from the studio drew several other questions. For example, a follower asked about the 16th DLC, to which the representative from the company confirmed that it will be arriving next week.

Another Twitter user pressed on to ask if the last one will be "extra special."

"We plan to end on a high note," CPDR replied.

Meanwhile, Patch 1.07 for the game rolled out earlier this week. Considered to be title's "biggest patch yet," the update however saw some complaints from users who downloaded the 7.3GB file.

Eurogamer cited reports from the Wild Hunt's official forum that the patch hinders the game's framerate on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Nonetheless, the publication pointed out the improvement on Geralt's movements, a rebalanced weapon stats, an enhanced inventory systems, as well as several bug fixes.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is the latest and the third of CDPR's "The Witcher" game franchise series. The title is available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
