'The X Factor 2015' News: After Exit of Anton Stephans, Simon Cowell Is Without an Act

Simon Cowell's final act in the show, Anthon Stephans, finally went home last night, leaving the Overs mentor without any act left to move forward for the rest of the competition.

Mason Noise was the first to leave the reality show last night, after receiving the lowest number of votes from the public, and Anton, who performed "I Can't Make You Love Me," went home soon after. The judges made a decision to save Che Chesterman, who sang "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys, instead of sending both Anton and Che to a sing-off. It was the three other judges, Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw, and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, versus Simon, so the three-to-one judges' votes were not enough to make Anton stay in the competition.

According to the Mirror UK, Nick called Anton's Saturday performance as "fake," and the Boys mentor even had one last dig on the contestant saying, "Are you tired?" The Overs singer was looking disappointed after knowing his faith, but later said that he had the best time of his life. Anton also said he can't wait for the show's live tour after the competition, and thanked everyone behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, the other contestants that were safe last night are Cheryl's Groups, 4th Impact and Reggie N Bollie, and Rita's Girls, Lauren Murray and Louisa Johnson. The singers all preformed Rihanna's "We Found Love" at the start of the show, and Nathan Sykes, former The Wanted star, performed on "The X Factor" stage last night singing "Over and Over Again."

The show's male host, Olly Murs, also took the stage, and performed. The host was great during his number, which he even pointed out after his performance. In his chat with his co-host, Caroline Flack, he said that he's more nervous hosting, referring to the gaffe he made last week, than performing.
