'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers, Plot News: Stitch Is Caught Between Abby and Ashley

Despite the continuous news about Sean Carrigan being written out of the show during the Newman Gala Fire, Stitch Rayburn may be proving that he is ready to stay in the show. Although Stitch ends up in the hospital, it seems that he will be overcoming the struggle for his life this week and will wake up to face a new dilemma —which is to tell Abby Newman (Melissa Ordoway) that he really loves her daughter Ashley Newman (Eileen Davidson).

According to spoilers by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, during Stitch's unconscious time, Abby will not be the only one staying by his side, as Ashley will also wait for news about his condition as well. Billy Abbott (Burgess Jenkins) will join his sister during this time and provide her support.

However, Ashley's over-emotional state about Stitch's condition will raise suspicions on Billy's part. After he expresses his opinions about this, she shuts him down by saying that she is simply excited about her mother and the doctor's engagement. She also distracts Billy by bringing up who they think is responsible for the fire, in which Ian Ward becomes the main suspect.

When Stitch wakes up, Abby greets him with much excitement, however, Stitch won't be sharing this feeling as he would hope that it was Ashley greeting him. As Stitch tries to explain to his new fiancé that she isn't the one he wants to be with, he will fail continuously as Abby will not let him get a word in between her ecstatic state.

As for Ashley, she will not have it in her heart to rain on her mother's parade by telling her what had transpired between her and Stitch the night of the fire. Instead, she will turn to Stitch and convince him that whatever feeling they expressed was simply not real.

Fans await how events will turn up as "The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays on CBS.
