'The Young and the Restless': Victoria Catches Reed Sneaking Out; Sharon Apologizes to Nikki

In the upcoming episode of "The Young and the Restless" on Thursday, Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) will finally realize she has to apologize for the way she acted against Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be furious after finding out that her son, Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu), sneaked out one night.

According to Soap Hub, Sharon's latest act against Nikki weighs heavily on her conscience. This might be the reason why, in an exclusive preview for the Feb. 23 episode of "The Young and the Restless," Sharon can be seen apologizing to Nikki, saying: "I'm sorry for pouring milk over your head. I wish there's a way I can make it up to you."

Right on cue, Nikki responds, "Actually there is." Though it was not shown what or how Sharon can make it up to Nikki, it looks like the two will arrive at a truce through that favor. Soap Hub also says that Nikki wants to see peace within her family, which might also explain why she immediately accepted Sharon's apology.

In the same episode preview, viewers can see Victoria getting furious upon finding out that Reed was in an open mic night at her brother's, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), bar 'The Underground' without her knowledge. Nick might have said a little bit too much when he was talking to his sister about Reed.

Nick tells his sister, "You should have heard him in the open mic night. He actually killed it." Victoria did not find it as amusing as Nick hoped she would. In an infuriated tone, Victoria responds, "Reed did what?"

It would be ironic that everyone else finds Reed's talent to be really amazing except for his mom. Apparently his performance at Nick's bar happened without his mother's permission. But reports say that Victoria will somehow blame herself for it. She will realize that she needs to keep a closer look at Reed's actions before he gets into real trouble.

"The Young and the Restless" airs from Monday through Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
