Theo James and Shailene Woodley News: Couple Rumors Resurface After 'Insurgent' Trailer Release

Despite all the debunking and official statements, actors Theo James and Shailene Woodley are once again back to the rumor mills following the release of the trailer of their upcoming movie "Insurgent."

The new teaser for the highly-anticipated "Divergent" sequel which was released on Friday, sent fans into a frenzy especially when the footage showed a great deal of their characters, Tris and Four, challenging the world's faction system.

Several promo images soon followed after showing an intimate scene between the two Dauntless.

The "Bedlam" actor just turned 30 years old last Tuesday, Dec. 16. A lot of rumors have been going on around regarding to whom the actor spent his birthday celebration with.

As it turns out, James must have spent his big day with long-time girlfriend Ruth Kearney.

"While his birthday plans weren't leaked on the Internet, it may be safe to assume that he spent his big day with his girlfriend Ruth Kearney, despite all the Shailene Woodley couple rumors that have been floating around the gossip sites," Kpopstarz.com reported.

Speaking about the movie, "Insurgent" is said to be even more action-packed that its prequel.

"INSURGENT raises the stakes for Tris as she searches for allies and answers in the dystopian ruins of a futuristic Chicago. Tris (Woodley) and Four (James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris's family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them," the synopsis for the movie reads.

Directed by Robert Schwentke, "Insurgent" hits the theaters this coming March 20, 2015.
