These 4 QBs Could Be Big Losers Due to Their Team's Free Agency Moves

Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys, Jay Cutler of the Chicago Bears, Nick Foles of the St. Louis Rams, and Josh McCown are all projected starters for their teams and they have all been hurt by their team's moves in free agency. Granted free agency is only part of the puzzle pieces that will eventually be these teams' 2015 rosters but these teams have not helped out their QB's on the free agent market at all. Two of these QB's (McCown and Foles) are new to their teams and they have to hope that their teams find a way to fill out their holes in the NFL draft.

Romo in Dallas has lost the leading rusher for 2014 in Demarco Murray. With a legit rusher behind one of the nastiest offensive lines created a balanced attack that helped Romo lead the team to the NFL playoffs. So far they have replaced the Murray safety valve with a bunch of RB by committee types. Look for Dallas to draft a legit starter to keep their offense moving forward.

Cutler in Chicago lost his favorite target in Brandon Marshall. He is also dealing with a new coaching staff that likely does not want him to be the starter. He will likely be stuck there given the large extension he signed with the former regime. The bears have yet to address the holes in their passing game.

McCown new to Cleveland faces the very real possibility that WR Josh Gordon will never play another down there. They also lost TE Jordan Cameron to the Miami Dolphins. That leaves their receiving corps undersized and without a legit playmaker.

Foles is new to St. Louis and after a down year faces a long of skepticism that he can be the elite QB talent the Rams are searching for. There is a big unknown factor here as the Rams also have a new person calling the plays for the offense.
