'Thor 3' Movie Release Date Delay: Pushed Back to November 2017

The third installment of the "Thor" film series officially titled "Thor 3: Ragnarok" will be coming to movie screens a few months later than its original release date. Marvel Studios recently announced that they are pushing back "Thor 3" to November 3, 2017 instead of July 28, 2017, according to reports.

The delay has to do with another announcement that Marvel made about Spiderman re-joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe after it successfully made a deal with Sony Pictures. Spiderman is said to be appearing in "Captain America: Civil War" in 2016 and says that Marvel and Sony need more time to work out how this will happen, according to Kpopstarz.

Rumors about the movie's storyline include that of Thor's death, making this the last movie of the series. The movie's title "Ragnarok," according to another report in Moviepilot means two things in Marvel Comics. First, it means the end of the Norse Gods' world and second, it also refers to a cyborg Tony Stark made which had Thor's DNA and Asgardian DNA.
