'Thor: Ragnarok' Cast News: New Female Superhero Joins Thor

The upcoming Marvel film "Thor: Ragnarok" is expected to feature a new female superhero.

It was reported by The Guardian that the upcoming installment for the "Thor" franchise will be bringing in a companion for Chris Hemsworth's Thor. A female superhero named Valkyrie is rumored to take on an important role for the upcoming film.

The character first appeared in "The Avengers" comic book in 1970. Her upcoming appearance in the new film is expected to be her debut in a live-action film. It was said that while Thor and the Hulk go on their cosmic adventure, they will meet Valkyrie. The new character is expected to be Thor's potential love interest, as it was illustrated in the comic books. Valkyrie is the leader of the Valkyrior community, which are celestial beings.

However, her presence will also bring the return of Thor's brother, Loki. It was reported that Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as Loki in the upcoming film.

As previously mentioned, the Incredible Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, will be present in the upcoming installment. It was reported that his role in the movie will allow fans to get to know more about the character. Producers also hope that it will be able to ignite some interest for the character.

Previous installments of the Marvel have seen the duo working harmoniously together. It was said that they both have good chemistry, which will allow the story to move further and delight fans.

There are speculations that the story could take place in Asgard, which is Thor's home, or Earth. With that, the film will be directed by Taika Waititi, who will be bringing in a lighter feel to the film. The script was written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, who had written the material for "Thor: The Dark World."

"Thor: Ragnarok" will be released on Nov. 3, 2017.
