'Thor: Ragnarok' Spoilers: Loki to Blame for Hela's Invasion of Asgard

Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is to blame why Hela (Cate Blanchett) is able to seize Asgard in "Thor: Ragnarok."

While Loki was the main villain in the past two "Thor" movies, his evilness will pale in comparison to "Thor: Ragnarok's" big bad, Hela. After all, with Hela being the Goddess of Death, it goes without saying that he is no match to her at all.

However, it has been learned that Loki is at fault why the Goddess of Death will succeed in seizing Asgard in "Thor: Ragnarok." According to the movie's producer, Brad Winderbaum, while Loki succeeded in his desire to rule Asgard after magically disguising as his father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins), he will fail to realize that ruling their home world is more than just sitting on the throne. Hence, when Hela comes to invade Asgard, he will be caught off guard.

"Thor (Chris Hemsworth) comes to learn early on, is that there's a lot of terrible things in the cosmos that just shouldn't be that way. And we learn that Odin was doing far more than it seemed on the surface to keep the universe safe... There were all these threats that he had quelled or was keeping at bay, using his strength and power to do so, that Loki was completely unprepared for...he failed to realize the threats that were just over the horizon, Hela being the biggest and most terrible one of all," Winderbaum explained in a recent interview with Screen Rant.

With the wrath that Hela brings, it has been revealed that Loki will reluctantly form an alliance with his half-brother whom he despises, Thor, so that with their combined forces and those of their allies will defeat the Goddess of Death. In the process, though, it is suggested that he will be attracted to one of their allies, Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), who will eventually figure out that the so-called God of Mischief cannot be trusted.

How will Thor, Loki, and their allies survive the wrath of Hela? Can they save Asgard from Hela's destruction?

Find out when "Thor: Ragnarok" hits the theaters this Nov. 3.
